Mrs. Dishman
Shery Dishman is thrilled to be entering her 38th year of teaching! She has been at GRACEPOINT School for 5 years, and she previously worked for both DODDS and The Cobb County Public School System. Mrs. Dishman grew up in Michigan and Illinois and graduated from Taylor University in Indiana before "heading south" in 1985 in search of warmer weather! Other than two years living in Germany, she has lived in the Atlanta area ever since. Mrs. Dishman is a certified Orton-Gillingham classroom teacher and loves using that training with students at GRACEPOINT!
Mrs. Dishman resides in West Cobb with her husband Andy and her cute dog, Ruby. Her daughter, Sophie, is a Junior at Auburn University. War Eagle! Other than teaching, Mrs. Dishman enjoys reading, decorating, organizing, and planning events. She and her family are members of the First United Methodist Church of Marietta.
